In desperate need of healthy bodies in January 1977, the Winnipeg Jets called on Morris Mott, who was playing for the Transcona Chargers of the Central Amateur Senior Hockey League. Mott had played with the California Golden Seals of the NHL for three seasons and had played for Vastra Frolunda in Sweden in 1975-1976.
Playing on a ten-game tryout contract, Mott suited up for two games for the Jets, where he recorded one assist and one fighting major. In the fight, he received a black eye courtesy of Ray Adduono of the San Diego Mariners. |
