Milt Black recovered from an injury-riddled season in Dallas to sign with the Winnipeg Jets in August 1972. Black become the first graduate of the junior Jets to sign a contract with the pro Jets and he was a regular on the 1972-1973 team that advanced to the AVCO Cup final.
Over the course of the next two seasons, Black's role diminished and he spent part of the 1973-1974 season with the Jacksonville Barons of the AHL. Following the 1974-1975 season, Black signed with Sodertalje SK in Sweden and played two seasons there before retiring. |
